There's a surprise! My postal vote arrived this morning and I guess many others have too.
With the campaigning in Fant Ward in Maidstone now in the final three weeks, things are really hotting up. UKIP standing in the ward for the first time in many years has thrown a spanner in the works and they should hit the Tory and Labour votes. Experience shows that they don't hurt the Green vote, especially where we have been active. It will be an interesting election and I suspect just a handful of votes will make the difference.
Good news too in a new YouGov poll out a couple of days ago. Looks like we are just one point behind the Lib Dems (we are on 8%) and given that our polling usually rises in the final couple of weeks, I think there is a real possibility that we could beat the Lib Dems nationally.
