Bus Tour in Maidstone

I joined Keith Taylor and Kent Greens for a tour of West Kent yesterday ending in Maidstone where we talked to hundreds of people by Maidstone East.

The bus is great. Powered by chip fat it traveled down high streets making a real statement of our commitment to green travel.

We started in Sevenoaks, followed by Tonbridge where we stopped for a great lunch in Finch House, an independently owned cafe. The afternoon was spent in Tunbridge Wells and we ended the day in Maidstone.

Handing out our Green Party newspaper was a joy. People were really pleased to see us out and about and chatting with voters on the high streets told me just how angry people are with the mainstream parties and
that they really like the Green Party's stance on many issues.
